How Buyers Save with rēhava
In most real estate transactions, there are two brokers involved: a seller's broker and a buyer's broker. Both brokers are represented by agents, who work directly with the clients. The seller's broker charges a commission as payment for listing a home. This commission is usually 6% of the total sale price of the home. The seller's broker then splits the commission between the two brokerages. The seller's broker typically keeps 3% of the price of the home and the buyer's broker is given 3%.
For example, if you're buying a home for $300,000, the typical 6% commission is $18,000. Of that $18,000, the seller's broker receives $9,000 and the buyer's broker receives $9,000.
If you're buying that same home and are represented by rēhava, we would receive the $9,000 commission from the seller's broker, retain 50% of it and then reward you with the rest. So in this case, you'd receive $4,500 after closing.
