Mixson Avenue Master Plan

This conceptual plan depicts a full build out of the neighborhood. It includes housing styles ranging from flats and townhomes to single-family homes with small private yards. Note the realignment of Mixson Avenue to create a slower, more people-friendly center street. The apartments and commercial district will be focused along this corridor.

When you first experience Mixson you will immediately notice it feels a little different. The roads are narrower. Homes are closer to the street. Buildings are clustered in creative ways to enhance the spaces in between. Outdoor rooms complement interior landscapes. Serendipity is celebrated. Some call it New Urbanism.
