Summerville, SC is situated on a pine-forested ridge slightly northwest of Charleston, SC and was first inhabited in the late 1700’s  as a relief for Charlestonians from the summer heat, mosquitos and disease. The annual Flowertown Festival 3 day event celebrates the incredible beauty of springtime in Summerville, SC and Festival events include over 200 arts & crafts booths with artists from all over the country, a Children’s Jubilee, live music from local artists and a “taste” of the Lowcountry sampling of cuisine.
